Synopsis [top]
Egon, the slightly absent-minded, amateur astronaut and Dönci, his nosey parker, fumbler, overfed, cat-like partner are living together on a small planet far away from the Earth. One day an unidentified object crashes on their planet, and a disc blinks among the wreckage, with the message of mankind on it. Egon, with the excitement of the discovery, comes to the decision to get a hold of the civilization which has given information about itself. He gets down to work right away: he starts building a tin spaceship for the space adventure in his workshop. Of course, Dönci, with his enthusiast interest is sitting holding up the departure, but at last the spaceship sets out towards the solar system.
Then, the biggest adventure of their life begins: they travel through an enormous storm with lighting and all, stand among the gigantic starts and the planets of spectacular space. In the midst of the excitement, Egon’s eyelids feel heavy, his head pitches, and all of a sudden he falls asleep. This has unforseen consequences, and the spacecraft ends up somewhere near Pluto, in need of repairs.
Eventually, they make it to Earth and meet an earthling, who tells them about the planet with all its ugliness and beauty. However, their legendary journey does not end here by far...
