Synopsis [top]
Jeff is a fast-paced businessman who runs a company that has built an ingenious mobile phone called Everywhere - a phone that presumably works everywhere in the world.
His relationship with his girlfriend Gail often takes a back seat to his determination to make his business successful. Jeff does not want the same commitment that Gail wishes for, and Jeff particularly doesn't want children.
Jeff has a meeting on a boat with Eric, a potential investor, and through unfortunate events, a boat accident at sea causes Jeff to be stranded on an island with Eric's two children, Heather and Ryan. Much to his surprise, Jeff finds that his mobile phone doesn't work on this island, and so Jeff and the children must work together to survive until they are rescued. Over the course of their three days together, Jeff learns what love can be, and discovers what is important in life. When their hope of rescue diminishes, Jeff ends up risking his life in order to save the children.
A comedy/adventure unfolds as the three castaways confront each other, deal with their individual personal fears, and learn how to survive together. And, Jeff learns how to love someone other than himself.
